First Time Doing Something

Last year I bought a motorcycle. I had never been on a motorcycle in my whole life, but I knew I could handle one. My husband bought one for himself also, but I told him that I would never ride on the back. So we looked on Craigslist, and got a 1994 Honda Shadow. The next day we went to the local high school parking lot, and I tried to learn how to ride it. I was so nervous at first I killed it a dozen times. Finally, I got the clutch figured out and I rode around the parking lot. At first I was scared to go around the corners, but after a few laps I got the hang of things. So I enrolled into a motorcycle class up in Bellingham Washington. That was the smart thing to do because I learned a lot from the instructor on safety and precautions. There was only three other women in the class with me and at the end of class we all pasted the test. I was impressed at how well I handled that bike for the first time. I would recommend riding a motorcycle to any woman, it is a blast!
